Landing at DIA? Here's how to find a dispensary near Denver airport.

There is no dispensary inside Denver International Airport — cannabis is banned on airport property entirely. Herbs 4 You sits in Capitol Hill at 20 E 9th Ave, a straight shot from DIA and walkable from most downtown hotels. Here's everything a traveler needs before the first stop.

Getting Here From DIA

A-Line Train + Short Ride

≈ 45 min

Board the University of Colorado A-Line at DIA and ride to Union Station downtown. From Union Station it is a 10-minute rideshare or the 0 bus down Broadway to Capitol Hill. This is the cheapest way in from the airport and it runs every 15 minutes for most of the day.

Rideshare Direct

≈ 30–40 min

Uber and Lyft pick up on Level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal, islands 1–5. Ask for 20 E 9th Ave, Denver CO 80203. Traffic on Peña Boulevard is the main variable, so build in extra time during rush hour.

Rental Car

≈ 30 min

Take Peña Boulevard to I-70 West, then I-25 South to the 8th Avenue exit. Street parking is available around 9th and Broadway. Never open or consume cannabis in a vehicle — Colorado treats it the same as an open container of alcohol.

What Most Travelers Pick Up

$44 Top Shelf Ounce

Our flagship deal and the easiest way for a visiting group to stock up for the week without overspending.

Low-Dose Edibles

Altitude changes how cannabis feels. Start at 5mg, wait two hours, and let your budtender steer you to a gentle first product.

Pre-Roll Bundles

Nothing to pack, nothing to carry home. Three half-gram joints for $11 is the standard traveler pickup.

Rules Every Visitor Should Know

Can I fly home with cannabis I buy in Denver?

No. Cannabis is federally illegal, and DIA prohibits possession anywhere on airport property, including the parking lots and the A-Line platform. Whatever you buy has to be consumed or discarded before you head back to the airport.

Do I need a Colorado ID to buy?

No. Any valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older works — out-of-state driver's licenses and foreign passports included. We card every single customer, every visit.

How much can a visitor buy at once?

Adults 21+ may purchase up to one ounce of flower, or the equivalent in concentrate (8 grams) or edibles (800mg THC), per day. The limit is the same for residents and visitors.

Where can I legally consume in Denver?

Only on private property with the owner's permission or inside a licensed Denver cannabis hospitality lounge. Public consumption — sidewalks, parks, the 16th Street Mall, hotel balconies facing the street — is ticketable. See our guide to licensed consumption spaces, or ask your hotel before you buy; a handful of Denver properties are 420-friendly.

Is there a dispensary inside Denver International Airport?

There is not. No dispensary operates at DIA, and cannabis cannot be sold or possessed on airport grounds. The closest licensed recreational shops are in the city, which is why most travelers head straight to Capitol Hill or downtown after landing.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Colorado dispensaries are largely cash-based due to federal banking rules. There is an ATM on site, and we recommend pulling cash before you arrive so you are not paying extra fees.
